Well, hello there!
2012 has arrived! I have to say, I’m relieved that 2011 is over. It was quite the year– crazy, busy, stressful but ultimately satisfying.
As for 2012, I cannot wait to see what it holds. 2012 resolutions aren’t going to happen but I have created a few goals and intentions to work on over the year. Number 1 – join a gym and go on a diet… yeah, right. My condolescences to all who are embarking on that crazy path. Isn’t January quite possibly the most depressing month of the year? So why do we try to make momentous changes from that month onwards without the mental fortitude and optimism to see it through? Personally, I hibernate until March and then, with the advent of warm sunshine and longer days, I begin to put my lazy self to rest and find my inner athlete. True story. It happens every year. I’m a fair weather exerciser.
Anyways, in case you’re interested, and for the sake of having a record, here are my 2012 intentions.
To blog twice a week.
To create one new vegan recipe per week (I’m in such a cooking rut and it’s time to climb the big wall out of it).
To use my juicer to make vegetable juice once a week (it’s being sitting on my work surface since we moved just waiting for me).
To stop worrying what others think of me and my decisions etc.
To no longer allow fear to control certain areas of my life.
To go to yoga once a week (last time I went to yoga I was so out of shape that it was embarrassing, but whatevs, I’m over the shame now).
I think that’s it…. Although I may think of more.
